A flexible calorie range shown as a band rather than a single hard target.
The Replenish home screen showing a day's meals, a workout and hydration on one timeline.
Logging a meal by taking a photo of it.

Three steps. No scores, no guilt.

Log what you actually ate, correct it if we got it wrong, and get insights that help you rather than judge you. That’s the whole loop.

01

Photo, text and barcode options for logging a meal.

Log it however’s quickest

Snap a photo, type it, or scan a barcode. Whichever’s fastest for the food in front of you.

Correct it when we get it wrong

We won’t pretend AI is perfect. Adjust amounts, swap ingredients, add what’s missing, so your home cooking is logged as you actually cooked it rather than as an algorithm guessed.

A weekly insight card explaining a pattern in the user's eating and suggesting a next step.

Understand it, don’t be judged by it

Meals, movement, sleep and hydration are read together, so you see patterns worth acting on rather than a number telling you whether you were good today.

Daily insightsWeekly patternsMonthly reviews

Built for your mind, not just your macros.

Most trackers turn every meal into a verdict. Replenish is designed so you can understand your habits without being scored on them, and you decide how much of the data you even want to see.

Choosing a goal: lose weight, gain muscle, or track my health.

It fits your life. Not the other way round.

You shouldn’t have to change what you cook, when you eat, or which culture you eat from just to use a nutrition app.

Insights you can actually act on

Daily, weekly and monthly insights that talk about timing, balance and consistency, never about rules, restriction or willpower.

Your goal, your direction

Lose weight, build muscle, or just understand your health. Your targets are shaped around what you actually eat, and they move as you do.

Your heritage, healthy

Eating well shouldn’t mean abandoning the food you grew up with. Recipes and swaps that work with the cuisines you already cook.

Nutrition beyond calories

Iron, calcium, B12, folate, fibre and more, because “how much” was never the whole story of how you feel.

Built by a doctor.

I built Replenish because of a pattern I kept seeing: people don’t need more guilt about food. They need flexible targets, honest evidence, and a tool that fits the way they actually eat, not one that makes them dread opening the app.

Dr Kuljinder S. Jandu, founder of Replenish
Grounded in published research Every recommendation traces back to the literature, not to whatever is trending. See the evidence.
Honest about uncertainty Where the evidence is still developing, Replenish says so rather than bluffing.
Not a diet, and not a doctor Replenish is a tool for understanding your habits. It does not diagnose or treat, and it will not replace your own clinician.

The evidence behind it.

Replenish is built on published research, practical nutrition guidance, and honest uncertainty where the science hasn’t settled yet.

Transparent by design

Where strong evidence exists, Replenish leans on large reviews of multiple studies. Where it doesn’t, it uses the next best evidence available and tells you where the limits are.

Strong evidence should feel clear, not intimidating.

How the evidence gets chosen

  • Meta-analyses, systematic reviews and large randomised trials come first.
  • UK guidance is used where it’s the safest reference point.
  • Uncertainty, small samples and conflicts of interest get flagged, not hidden.
Lose weight

Sustainable change built on your real intake, flexible ranges and food quality, not a crash deficit.

Build muscle

Enough energy, protein spread across the day, and recovery treated as part of the training.

Track my health

Understand your habits, meal timing, movement, sleep and nutrient balance over time.

Read the full evidence page Every study, every caveat, every conflict of interest we know about.

Progress

Progress you can see, beyond the scale.

Weight moves slowly and can be slower to reflect real change. It's made up of many things. Store progress photos alongside your measurements and notes, then compare the start and end of the month side by side.

  • Photos, weight, body fat, waist and your own notes in one place.
  • Compare the first and last photo of any month with a slider.
  • Private by default. It’s your body, not a leaderboard.

Questions, answered plainly.

Can I not just use ChatGPT?

You can, but it is designed to be general. Replenish is a nutrition coach who knows your entire history. ChatGPT and similar tools provide broad, conversational health information. Replenish is different by design: it is evidence-backed, drawing on peer-reviewed research rather than general web sources, and it focuses on turning your data into daily, weekly and monthly insights.

There is also a privacy consideration. If you upload a photo of your food or body to a general AI tool, that image leaves your device and is processed on external servers. With Replenish, progress photos stay on your phone and never leave it.

What else can Replenish track?

Apart from calories, Replenish tracks macronutrients, micronutrients, hydration, sleep and exercise. Premium adds body composition photo tracking — store front, side and back progress photos privately and compare the start and end of any month side by side, alongside weight, body fat percentage and waist measurements.

How is my data used?

We use your meal logs, sleep and exercise data to generate personalised AI insights. This happens securely via our backend. Your personal information — name, email and food logs — is never sent to third-party AI services in a way that identifies you. We never sell your data to third parties.

Progress photos are stored locally on your device and never leave it. They are not uploaded to our servers or processed by any AI service.

How is Replenish different from other nutrition tracking apps?

Most nutrition apps are built around rigid daily calorie targets and streak mechanics that reward consistency over wellbeing. Replenish takes a different approach. It is built around food psychology — flexible ranges instead of hard limits, the option to hide numbers entirely, and insights that explain patterns rather than issue verdicts.

It is also built for cultural diversity. Recipes and food logging work across a wide range of cuisines, not just the narrow Western diet that most apps assume. And unlike apps that surface general tips, Replenish draws on peer-reviewed evidence and personalises its insights to your actual data over time — your timing, your balance, your trends.

Who is the app suitable for?

Replenish is for anyone looking to lose weight, build muscle or track their health, without obsessing over numbers or giving up their favourite foods.

Some exceptions apply. Replenish is not recommended for children under 18, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have a diagnosis of an eating disorder, kidney disease, type 1 diabetes, a BMI below 18.5, or take medication that can lower blood sugar. If any of these apply to you, please consult your GP before using any nutrition tracking tool.

How accurate is AI food tracking?

No AI is perfect at identifying food from a photo, and Replenish is honest about that. Every detected ingredient can be adjusted, swapped or added to — so your home cooking is logged as you actually cooked it, not as an algorithm guessed.

For packaged foods, we use the OpenFoodFacts database, which contains more than 4,000,000 products from over 150 countries. Barcode scanning pulls exact nutritional data directly from the label.
